YO YO YO, WHAT'S GUCCI EVERYONE!!

SO WITHOUT FURTHER ADO... THE FIRST EPISODE OF
"CK CREW: OUTFITS OF THE WEEK"

Heyyyyy guys, Jenbah here. So not doing my traditional blog post today but i'm just checking in to tell you guys about these new vans I heard about! Also, this is to make up for the lack of converse and vans news in my previous post.

SO lets jump right in. Vans are releasing a 'Polar bear pack', this showcases furry and fuzzzzzzzzzy form of the old skool, authentic and lampin styles. The sneakers will come in only a white colour.

How cute do these look? LOL shoes for winter anybody? These furry kicks will drop at BILLY's Tokyo in the coming weeks from October 16 with the authentic at $67, the old skool in the middle of november at $75 and lastly the lampin in december for $80.

Just a quick snippet from me guys, stay tuned! Au revoir from jenbah

WHATS GOOD PEOPLE.
JUST QUICKLY CHECKING IN!
So today before coming to uni i received a package. It is the

New Balance (1500) x Provider ("Provider")
I know what you guys are thinking what is that scribble on the box? Well before i get into that lets talk about how special this shoe actually is. The shoes were a collaboration by an Australian store- "Provider" which released to the public in 2008- since then the store has closed down. I know what you're thinking whats so special about this?

1. I was just informed that there were only 72 pairs made available Word Wide of these. How do i prove it?  The picture below shows it- i know it looks like i just scribbled it on but theres more.

NOTE: I have seen 3 pairs for sale in the past in Euro pages which all have gone for 1000Euros.

1/72 Of New Balance X Provider

2. The owner of the store Chris Provider whom i bought these off personally signed the box for me and included a pair of sunglasses which came with the shoe. What makes this even more rare is that i have only ever seen 10 pairs of these online for sale/ for trade and none of them have ever had the sunglasses...

New Balance X Provider

What a blessing this is for me to own a part of New Balance history and Australian Sneaker history, i know in the past i have said i hated blue shoes, but these are an exception. These truly are a grail. There is no rating for these, they're in their own tier.

Ay what's good guys? Krispy here with another segment of Budget Kickers! Just before I start, I'd like to thank you all for keeping up with and supporting our blogs. The love is really appreciated!

The sneaker game is a pesky one to be in. To be frank, I'm not nearly as much into sneakers as the others in the group, don't get me wrong, I like shoes, but some of the prices can be really off-setting. That's where I come in! Cheaper shoes don't mean that they're less valuable or cool, if you like it, rock it like a rock star (gross analogy, I apologise). So many people are caught up in what others deem as cool, that they're unable to form their own opinion. My advice is to just wear what you like, trust me, you'll feel way better about buying kicks that you actually like rather than what your friends do.

THE NIKE JANOSKI MAX is the beautiful love child of famous skater Stefan Janoski and Nike, in a very successful attempt in creating a fashionable skating shoe that offers the premium comfort and design for both functionality and casual use.

The shoes above are from the original release Janoski Max range and go for around $100 retail. If you shop in the right places you can get them for around $75. I really like the design, it's simple and has a nice range of colour ways (just from the original release mind you). I like the placement of the tick and the size of the tongue, it works well with skinny jeans but can also work well with a range of outfits, can't go wrong with versatile shoes.
On the heel you have the "Air" function for additional cushioning and comfort, especially necessary for skaters. The mid sole uses the Nike free flex screws that just add that extra comfort for casual use like when walking.

Finally, I present to you the Janoski Max L or the suede range. Pretty sure this is the most recent of the Janoski Max releases to date and is really similar again, to the original. I am a big fan of suede in shoes and would definitely cop these if I hadn't already bought myself a pair of the Janoski Mesh. As these are the most current release, expect the prices to be slightly higher and sales to be harder to come by.

If you couldn't stand to read my whole review, check out this quick video review from my boy at Tactics.com

Thanks for everything guys, love and peace!
-Kris

Hey guys, I know I posted this morning BUT I thought i'd post another quick post on what I picked up today and how I was able to resell it for a bit of extra $$$

SOOOOO.... WHAT DID WE PICK UP?

Starting from the top row left to right:

1. Nike Flyknit Racer "Volt" 2012 Release
2. Nike Flyknit Racer "Volt" 2012 Release
3. Nike Flyknit Racer "University Red" 2013 Release
4. Nike Flyknit Racer "Chlorine Blue" 2013 Release

What's up guys!

So this week we will be answering the question we are all asking, "Why doesn't Nike just make more sneakers OR raise the price?" To put it simply, by balancing limited supply and heightened demand, Nike can simply feed of this. Producing a higher volume of sneakers will discourage the 4% of customers who fuel the market and raising the prices will discourage the 96% from buying the shoe for themselves. Ensuring supply never meets demand means that Nike creates a market that nets the resell community millions of dollars per year, but also keeps the hype of the Swoosh in the forefront of consumer culture. Nike is able to sell millions of 20 year old sneakers a year without advertising, PR, discounts or sales.

The resell market Nike has built is definitely a strange and very similar to trade in narcotics in similar way. Supply is highly limited, controlled by one party - in this case Nike, and there are no barriers to enter into this market. Similar to your local dealer, no specific qualifications are required to enter the market, you just need to purchase stock, have a few customers and you're in business! Much like trade in drugs, there is no official price, and people are willing to go to extraordinary lengths to feed their addiction.

Nike has created a cult of devoted followers, and is one of the worlds biggest brands, one whos products can cause riots and force people to line-up days and weeks before their release. People even offering cars for exchange. The resell market has been a tool the Oregon brand has observed and experimented with and ultimately manipulated the dynamics that take place in the marketplace for sneakers, bringing it millions of dollars per year. AND that's how Nike uses the resell market to its advantage.

Let us know below what you think!!

So before i end off, I'd just like to share with you guys 2 pick-ups I made recently.

FIRST, the NIKE FLYKNIT TRAINER +

• Copped these for $320 from Hong Kong
• Decent price especially for the condition
• Pretty nice shoe in my opinion, and Kanye wore them so I had to get them!! (Hypebeasting!!!!"

wha-wha-wha-whaaaaaaaaats up guys?! Ok lets cut the chit-chat. So the converse and vans stream unfortunately hasn't had a very strong sneaker release current recently. But since I really enjoyed reviewing the disney sneakers - I have a little something of similar substance for you all today.

So what I mentioned before is the new Peanuts x Bata Tennis 65th Anniversary collection - which is along the lines of the animation front. Now, Vans did previously participate in a collaboration with Peanuts in 2014 along with Converse in 2010. Despite all these collaborations over the years, Peanuts keeps coming back around, right? Charlie Brown. Ha ha I know i'm a riot. Anyway, back to the Peanuts x Bata, this team up was in celebration of Peanut's 65th Anniversary and remembrance of the late Charles M. Schulz. Three types of the low-cut canvas tennis shoe are being released with striped midsoles, 'Bata Tennis' printed footbeds and adorable designs of Charlie Brown, Woodstock, Lucy and Snoopy!

These will be released later this month!

Now, since there is absolutely not much else to review.. i'm afraid i'm going to have to go with SOPHNET's collaboration with Vans in celebration of their 16th anniversary. The vans slip ons come in two colours of navy or black and are both of cowhide material.

This collection will be available in SOPHNET's Tokyo Flagship store from the 2nd of November.

Alriiiiight so time for my drawing segment, and surprise surprise I will not be attempting to emulate the soft fibres of cowhide digitally. I'm going with Charlie Brown LOL.

Ok this was definitely harder than I had anticipated... not one of my best. Either wayyyyy the message is pretty clear here, the Peanuts brand has been extremely successful therefore it does not have to stay exclusive to specific brands because they are always in demand (also drawing those logos was not easy LOL). I remember watching the Charlie brown show on television and oddly enough i'm not able to recall why I was so fond of it...I can't even remember the theme song. But I suppose something about how Charlie always had unfortunate things happen to him and he just brushed it off was calming to me.

ANYWAY thats it from me for now guys! AU revoir from jenbah!

Whats good people! We going back to back posts! Why? cause i totally forgot to inform you guys on the Asics ' Kimono Denims' which saw its international release this week! So lets get right into it!

Asics ' Kimono Denims '
The Asic ' Kimono Denims ' is inspired by the heritage of Japan and how the old culture and the new culture has been merged to form what we now see in Japan. What does that mean you ask? Well  the flowers on the ankle collar represent the history of japan back in the early 90s where flowers were used for everything such as decoration, eating and used as design for clothing. The Selvedge denim is one of the most iconic pieces of fabric to come out of Japan- this shoe is made with nothing but selvedge denim on the uppers and great quality leather on the Asics stripes. The shoes were released in early August this year as an Asia exclusive only which were Japan, China, Singapore and Hong Kong. However, Asics announced an international release back in September without a confirmation date. Three days before the shoe was supposed to release, information had been just announced to the public via Asics Australia that Australia will be getting these. However, there were only 15 pairs in Sydney store, in which i was the first to line up there and secure my pair!

1. Cropped muscle tank
2. Drop crotch sweat pants
3. Givenchy Leather Boots

1. High Risk tee
2. Boyfriend Jeans
3. Cat eye sunglasses
4. Leather boots

1. Oversized bomber
2. Crew neck sweat shirt
3. Black puma sweat pants
4. Customised Jewellery
5. Sunglasses
6. Ear cuff

1. Structured Tee
2. Ori Shorts
3. Dior Reflected Sunglasses
4. Quilted leather mini back pack
5. Adidas High tops

WHATS GOOD PEOPLE. I TOLD YOU I WOULD GET YOU INFORMATION ON THE HAL X ASICS 25th ANNIVERSARY DIDN'T I?
WELL GUESS WHAT PEOPLEEEE I GOT A LEAKED IMAGE!

Asics X Hal 25th Anniversary- "TBA"

Asics X Hal ( 25th Anniversary)
Well there we have it. The 25th Anniversary Asics X Hal. As you can see the shoe features 4 shades of greens. We see a mint green, Light olive green, emerald and a dark green. The shoe comes with Red and black lace locks and features the HAL branding on the tongue of the shoe. The materials are by far the best materials on any 25th Asics anniversary thus far, i have been told that the green panels where the Asics stripes lie- it features a crackling green nylon material featured with 3m hits on the logo. The shoe will come with white and red laces as well. Rumours have that HAL will be trying to put out a special box with this shoe.

Adidas Pure Boost

Ayo what's good guys, it's Krispy again with another segment of Budget Kicks! Just before I start I'd like to open up by saying that price does not equal value. There are some great shoes for low prices so don't feel pressured to spend exorbitant amounts to look good. If you read my previous blog, you'll know that I was looking to get a pair of Adidas Racer Lite's for 30 dollars this week, well, as luck would have it, they were completely out of stock for my size and any size close to it....

Hahaha not the end of the world, i'll just grab it when it's available next time guys!

So this week i'll introduce to you guys the Adidas Pure Boost (original). The shoe is part of Adidas' trademark "boost" line which is easily one of their most successful, including kicks like the Ultra and Yeezy Boosts (both out of my price range atm, but are fire). The Pure Boost itself has two versions of release, the original and 2.0. They both look great and have a difference in price of around $40, so if you're interested, check out the 2.0.

On release, the retail price was $120 and has dropped to around $100. Unfortunately, Mr West/ Yeezy/ Kanye was seen wearing these bad boys, so a further price drop would be unlikely. Although, $100 is a really good price for these shoes, you can definitely get them cheaper with the right knowledge and a bit of luck. Try purchasing from Facebook buy/sell groups like shop and swap (I usually do cash and meet ups only, saves the hassle of something going wrong), eBay, Gumtree, Outlet stores/ Factories and maybe even online shopping. A lot of options to get some nice, affordable sneakers for less than retail.

Alright, for you shoe fanatics obsessed with the science of the shoe, i'll give you a quick run-down. It has the standardised boost technology that allows for light, cushioned steps, grippy rubber outsole and of course breathable mesh lining (because who likes sweaty toes). The focal point of the shoe is the boost technology, it's Adidas' fancy way of saying comfortable. Trust me, these were made for comfort. Fortunately, they look amazing as well.

          Adidas Pure Boost: Camo

Another colour way you may not see very often is the camouflage design. I am personally not a fan as I prefer simple shoes to wear with a lot of outfits, as opposed to finding an outfit to match my shoes. Regardless, if you do like this design, you'll love their comfort even more.

If you're still unsure and want a better look, I suggest either going in store or watching some online reviews (I find those to be pretty useful). I'll leave one below, take care guys, peace.

Kris' Budget Kicks

What’s up again Hypebeasts!! Liuser back again with another Hypebeasting post.

Last week we touched on the basic concept of reselling from a reseller point of view (me), however this week we will be exploring reselling through the eyes of Nike and how it uses the resell market to its advantage.

If you didn’t already know, Nike and Jordan Brand dominate the sneaker resell game – ask any of the campers outside your local Footlocker at 8 AM on a Saturday. Nike's influence in the game is so considerable that sneaker data experts at Campless estimate that 96% of shoes on the resell market is embellished by the Swoosh or the Jumpman.

Jordan Brand

Whats up guys?! iiiiiiiiiiiiiits Jenbah *cue the dramatic opening music*

Guess what. The Disney and Vans collaboration I talked about last post are releasing another one! They just couldn't fit all that Disney has to offer into the first collection. So this time they really tried to pack in a lot of characters, which include: The Jungle Book, Alice in Wonderland and 101 Dalmatians. These characters feature on the Vans Sk8-Hi and Authentic.

How sweet are these? The Alice in Wonderland ones especially. This collection will be available from October 9th in Vans retail stores.

Alright, next up is the teaming up of UNDFTD (Undefeated) and Converse. They've presented us with the classic Chuck Taylor in both black and white leather with a cheetah print upon the inner lining, creating a colour block effect. The white is probably the most prominent as the inner lining is also accentuated by a red stripe on the heel of the shoe.

These have been available since September 11th at the price of $120.

Whats good people! i know some of you are wondering- "Cent found 2 cents?". Well you see guys i apologise again for the lack of sneaker news upon my section for the last two weeks, however it is not my fault! blame the brands! they all go quiet around this time and prepare big launches for christmas. This post will just be me showing you guys my latest pick up which just came in fresh off the plane- Konichiwa B!+(#3$. ( Kanye reference)(Also a hint to what im about to show you.)

ASICS X HAL 25th Anniversary
I apologise again for not having any sneaker news on the latest updates for you guys to read about. However, i got so angry i had to go deep into my connects and ask someone i know who works for Asics to get me some information on how the HAL X Asics- 25th anniversary will look like. So far the only information i have received is there will be hits of mint and green throughout the shoe, the shoe will also come with a lace lock! But besides that... thats all i have for this week...  I cry with you too

NOW ONTO MY LATEST PICK UP!
I know many of you may have no idea what these mean to mean or what value these shoes hold- but the reason  i have named this weeks title " Cent found 2 Cents" is because the shoes im about to show you go for around $4000AUD brand new, and i have been lucky enough to find a pair under the $4000 mark. What could it be? i did give you guys a hint earlier in the intro!
